    Last year, my small business consulting business was doing ok.  It was
    also nothing to brag about.  I worried, like many small business owners,
    about getting enough customers for the business.  I bought the marketing
    books.  I attended the seminars.  I ordered the expensive internet courses. 
    My wife constantly complained that I was spending too much money buying
    all the “solutions” and never getting any different results.

    Six months ago, I took two days off, away from phones, TV and my
    computer.  I found that as I sifted through all of the professional materials
    I had accumulated, I could identify five critical points that significantly affected
